General Future Plan : |
| |
|
| |
General planning which we will try to
start simultaneously if possible as follows : |
| |
|
| |
- Software Development projects
The ACE teams are also looking at the
possibility of creating a software development
projects. If this project takes off we will need
foreign partners.
|
| |
- Presently the ACE team have a number of students
who have an excellent and professional knowledge
of computers and software. All they need is the
opportunity to show their talent. Ideally this
would be through contact with a abroad based
Software Development Company that can provide
opportunities for these students. We would like to
explore this possibility and see how it can be
made to work in practice. There must be some way
forward with this idea. We would welcome any
contact with anyone who can help us to make these
contacts.
|
| |
- If there is any Software Development Company in
abroad, which is run by Dhammacharies and
Dhammamitras or sahayakas, they have an excellent
opportunity to help our brothers and sisters in
India. Indian software development skills are
recognized around the world and have a proven
track record. Through your help we will survive
and I am sure you will also benefit.
|
| |
- Data Entry work
The ACE team has also looking at the
possibility of performing Data Entry work at
Nagpur for FWBO centers abroad and perhaps for
Windhorse Trading, Cambridge. There are many
multinational companies who have outsourced their
data entry work to India. How could we move into
this lucrative market? Presently ACE do not have
any clear idea. If somebody in FWBO is interested
in helping ACE they are most welcome.
Multinational Companies are sending their data
entry work to India for two reasons main reasons
cheap labour and huge man power.
|
| |
- Medical/Legal Transcription work
In this job the spoken work is converted
into printed material. Medical Staff dictate notes
by microphone into a microcomputer. This audio
data is then sent over the internet to India, a
user listens to the audio, types it up and the
text file is sent back as the finished product.
This type of work has already started in Nagpur,
outside of the ACE, and our friends working there
are gaining an expert knowledge in this field. We
have excellent doctors in our movement to work as
editors for these texts.
|
| |
- Education abroad
The ACE team is looking forward to
helping as many students in India by providing
opportunities for the students to study abroad.
For this noble end the ACE team encourages all
FWBO centers in UK, USA, Australia, Ireland,
New-Zealand and so on to co-operate with ACE to
find ways to help as many students as possible to
study abroad. There are many ways one FWBO center
can help students, for example,
- The FWBO center Sydney, Australia helped two
student Mr. Nilesh Ganvir and Miss Ruchita
Ambade from Aryaloka Computer Institute. Dh.
Khemdhamma who is my good friend has taken the
initiative to find cheaper accommodation and
food for them. Specially, he went to the
airport to welcome Nilesh. It’s really a
great moral support to be met in this way.
It’s unbelievable for Nilesh and Ruchita
that someone from Sydney is making such an
effort to take care of him. It’s the magic
of the Dharma. Now he is taking and interest
in the Sangha and became a DhammaMitra at SBC.
It’s great that a student from India has
traveled to Sydney for an academic education
and is getting a Buddhist Education as well!!.
This is the main objective of Aryaloka. To
provide the spiritual atmosphere where people
can pursue their interest in the Dharma along
with their career.
|
| |
- Why we have started this activity ?
- With the virtues of globalization
introducing into day to day lives, and the
exposure to universal sun of Tran nationalism,
there has been a constant rise in the number
of students wishing to go abroad for
education. Until a few years ago education in
western countries was only possible for the
more fortunate daughters and sons of the rich.
Now with the incomes of a large stratum of
Indian society being much better than before
and the cost of education having come down in
certain countries, it has worked to the
advantage of the middle class families.
Countries like Australia, UK, New Zealand,
Ireland provide greater opportunity and have
also made huge endeavors to attract Indian
students to their Universities and
Institutions. Moreover keeping in mind fees,
work rights and other settlement opportunities
these destinations have always generated a lot
of interest in the minds of potential Indian
students.
- The emphasis on a quality practical
education creates a sound foundation for the
future careers students. Independence,
decision-making, determination, vision and
professionalism are some of the many benefits
to be gained through the experience of
studying abroad.
